What is Ascoli?
Ascoli is the first-ever low-acid sauce company made with 100% real tomatoes, catering to those who battle digestive discomfort such as heartburn, acid reflux, and GERD. With our specially designed formula, we believe we will change lives! Ascoli is for anyone who believed they had to give up tomato-based sauces, now, they can Eat with Relief!

Our mission is to develop the best tasting low-acid products that enable the consumer to Eat with Relief!
Born from a Need
The idea for Ascoli came from a personal need, when a family member started having digestive discomfort, and they could no longer have tomato-based sauces or meals. This struggle changed the way they ate on a daily basis and drastically changed their quality-of-life. Wanting to help, we found a way to package a low-acid pasta sauce, without the harsh acidity. Now, family members and friends can Eat with Relief!
Acid 101
Our special recipe is curated with the intent of making it a pH of 5.2 or higher, unlike other sauces that read at a pH of 4, which is what causes the burn when eating tomato-based sauces. When measuring acidity, the higher the pH, the lower the acid content. Do not be fooled, just one point can make a huge difference! A pH of 5.2 measures the same acidity as a cooked potato or a banana, making it much less acidic than the current tomato sauces on the shelf.
The Market Gap
When looking at restrictive diets, low-acid makes up a whopping 33% of the population. This is the largest segment compared to low salt at 22%, reduced sugar/diabetic at 11.6%, gluten free at 6% and fodmap at 6%. Despite this, the market still hasn’t filled this overwhelming gap, making alternatives for most restrictive diets, but have neglected to fill the largest void, until now. Ascoli fills the gap in restrictive food diets, so now those who have been looked over for so long can Eat with Relief!
Launch
Our plans for launch are set for the first quarter of 2026, we will first sell to retailers, then eventually sell to restaurants and hospitals, so you may have tomato-based sauces at any time, without the burn! Now is the perfect time to tell friends and family and start looking for Ascoli in stores near you come this Spring!
Pasta Sauce Flavors
Come 2026, we will be launching the everyday-favorite sauce flavors. We have a classic marinara, traditional tomato basil, and a savory roasted garlic. We are excited to eventually expand into other flavors to meet your taste bud’s need!
Product Extension
Ascoli plans to extend beyond pasta sauce, by bring our same low-acid innovation to any tomato-based condiment or meal. We are planning to launch an Ascoli salsa, canned tomatoes, pizza sauce, tomato soup, BBQ sauce, ketchup, you name it! Where there’s a void, there’s Ascoli!
